I am a Tarleton State University alum where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In 2014, I earned a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate supervised by Allison Eckelkamp. I have a strengths-based approach to life personally and professionally. I work with people who may experience anxiety, depression, or difficult life transitions. I enjoy working with teens, young adults, college students, adults and educators. I have an interest in working with a trauma-focused approach and use a Person-Centered style with people experiencing anxiety, depression, or struggles with self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship skills. In our time together, one of the most important parts of our therapeutic relationship will be rooted in genuine empathy and connection. I believe everyone has the ability to change. It is important in life to evolve and grow throughout your experiences and that includes adjusting and improving how you engage with others and yourself. In counseling, we will work together to identify areas of growth and improvement. As a therapist, I want you to be in the driver’s seat and work with your own strengths to heal and grow.
